Description
The Elevate Van Shear bracket kit is engineered to address a known weak point in Sprinter van suspension systems: the shearing of rear shock absorber bolts at the chassis mount during heavy off-road use. When a bolt fails under stress, extracting it from the chassis can be a serious issue—especially in remote areas.
Our Shear bracket system is specifically designed to prevent this failure by redistributing the load from the shock absorber across two bolts instead of one. This added reinforcement helps protect your chassis and maintain suspension integrity under extreme conditions.
Shear Bracket Components:

Main Shear Brackets
Distributes the load from the shock absorber to two points on the chassis, reducing stress and the chance of bolt failure. -
Backing Plates
Provides added strength and rigidity to the mounting area. -
Lock Plates
Secures the bolt in place and prevents rotation or loosening over time. -
All Required Mounting Hardware
Includes all bolts and plates necessary for installation.
The bracket is designed to fit panel van based campers. Does not fit on chassis build camper like Hymer ML-T, Frankia Neo, etc.
Each component of the Shear bracket system is designed to work together to enhance off-road durability, minimize risk of failure, and give you peace of mind when venturing beyond paved roads.

Shipping Methods:
Orders are shipped either by parcel or pallet, depending on the product and order size. Some products are only shipped via pallet, and adding such an item to your order will automatically calculate pallet shipping costs at checkout.
Local Pickup:
You can skip shipping fees by selecting local pickup at our workshop in Hastings, (Unit 8, Platform Business Centre, Haywood Way, Hastings TN35 4FB). Collection must be arranged in advance.
You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection.
Return Policy:
You may return products within 14 days of receiving or picking up your order, provided they are in a new, unused condition and returned in saleable condition.

Returns due to manufacturing defects or shipping errors will be covered.
If a return is authorised for reasons not related to defects, the customer is responsible for packaging, insurance, and return shipping costs. Refunds are issued once the product is received and inspected.
Non-Returnable Items:
Products that have been drilled, modified, or installed
(e.g., Cargo Boxes with drilled mounting holes).
Items returned in damaged or unsellable condition.
