Description
The Basecamp Roof Rack is designed to complement the lines of your Mercedes Sprinter campervan, offering both functionality and a clean, integrated look. The front section features a single tube, allowing you to mount a LED bar or auxiliary lamps if desired.
The roof rack is constructed from separate components: the front part, middle section (which determines the length), and the end part. Once installed, these components fit seamlessly, making the modularity nearly unnoticeable.
The Basecamp Roof Rack also features a fully modular floor decking system, allowing you to customise your layout based on your specific needs. Whether you want space for solar panels, roof vents, or cable entry glands, this system can be tailored to fit your campervan setup. The flexible design allows you to cover the roof entirely or leave space for other installations, depending on your preference. For more details on how our Roof Rack system works, click here!
Due to the lightweight construction of this roof rack, vibrations can cause a resonance sound. This can only be prevented by adding weight to the front, such as a LED bar or lamps. For this reason, we highly recommend installing lighting on the front of the roof rack.

Sequoia Basecamp Roof Rack Sprinter installation requirements
Important: The Basecamp Roof Rack is not compatible with pop-up roofs. While your van model may be listed as compatible, this applies only to vans without pop-up roofs.
The modular design of the Basecamp Roof Rack allows for easy installation, without requiring a forklift or hoist. The rack comes with roof rails that mount directly into the OEM holes, eliminating the need for drilling into the roof.
Our roof rails are slightly higher than OEM versions, providing ample space to mount solar panels or floor decking across the van. The continuous design of the rails allows for flexible mounting options along the entire length. For vans with pre-built interiors, the roof rails can be installed from the outside using the "Existing Interior Roof Rails Installation Kit."
We strongly recommend mounting an LED bar or lamps to the front of the roof rack to minimise wind noise.

Shipping Methods:
Orders are shipped either by parcel or pallet, depending on the product and order size. Some products are only shipped via pallet, and adding such an item to your order will automatically calculate pallet shipping costs at checkout.
Local Pickup:
You can skip shipping fees by selecting local pickup at our workshop in Hastings, (Unit 8, Platform Business Centre, Haywood Way, Hastings TN35 4FB). Collection must be arranged in advance.
You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection.
Return Policy:
You may return products within 14 days of receiving or picking up your order, provided they are in a new, unused condition and returned in saleable condition.

Returns due to manufacturing defects or shipping errors will be covered.
If a return is authorised for reasons not related to defects, the customer is responsible for packaging, insurance, and return shipping costs. Refunds are issued once the product is received and inspected.
Non-Returnable Items:
Products that have been drilled, modified, or installed
(e.g., Cargo Boxes with drilled mounting holes).
Items returned in damaged or unsellable condition.
